ABOUT IMS (Information Management Solutions)
Information Management Solutions is an electronic service bureau providing information management, electronic records archival, document scanning, document hosting as an ASP, the sale document imaging systems, and high speed laser printing and mail management services.
The paper document archival solutions we provide include Document Imaging and the sale and integration of Document Imaging Systems. Converting paper documents, film or drawings to an electronic image format with a scanner allows the images to be viewed, shared, faxed or printed. If you send us samples of your documents, we will scan and return the images on a CD-ROM and show you how it works.
Advanced image viewing software offered by IMS gives the user the ability to link documents that would normally be kept together, such as in a customer service environment. The software we offer links scanned paper images, COLD data, faxes, e-mail, spreadsheets and common office documents at either a departmental or Enterprise level. We also offer Workflow Software that can electronically move information, tasks and documents through your system.
IMS provides High Speed Laser Printing services, Bulk, Direct and Automated Mailing Services. Typical jobs that can be printed and mailed are: Telephone bills, utility bills, statements, notices, medical billing, bulk mail, price catalogs, inventory books, coupon books, county rolls, notice of appraised value, voter registration cards, flyers, mailers- fixed or variable data. We can accept your data on any media including via FTP. After printing business type documents, IMS can archive your print images in a PDF format. Using a free viewer, you can then view and print anything that was printed. This in effect gives you full in-house reprint capability. Your print files can also be archived in a COLD format.
Another service of IMS is processing report and print file data to a Computer Output to Laser Disc (COLD) format, a process also called Electronic Records Management (ERM). This service allows you to remove data from your data storage system for archival purposes. However, after it is archived, it can still be retrieved and viewed from a PC. You can send us your data in any format and on any media including FTP. We will process your data as a service and return it on the media of your choice, or we can host it as ASP. Send us up to one month of your data and we will process it at no charge and show you how it works. We also sell COLD processing software for both departmental and enterprise applications.
As an Application Service Provider (ASP), IMS can also host your scanned images or COLD processed data. Your viewing software is your Web Browser.
