LogTRAX SM is a service provided by IMS that gives trucking companies a convenient way to
track, store and retrieve driver logs and then generate custom reports from data extracted from the
logs. It is this combination of services, specially designed logs and software that allows you
to move from a completely paper-based log tracking system that is labor intensive to a modern
electronic solution that is much less labor intensive.

How do we get our logs to IMS?
You can either send IMS the paper logs, or you scan them and transmit the images
via a telecommunications line to IMS, a process called Shared Imaging SM.
How do we use the images after the logs are scanned?
The images are returned to you with easy-to-use retrieval software. They can
then be quickly retrieved and printed for your review or for official inspections.
But more importantly, IMS extracts vital data from the logs that are used to generate
custom reports for your driver's activities. As an ASP we can store the documents
for you and you can retrieve them using your Web Browser
What data can be extracted from a driver log?
You select the data. We can customize the reports to meet your needs.

What reports can be generated from the extracted data?
The extracted data can be used to generate custom reports using MS Windows
type software developed by IMS. Some of the reports that are available are:
Driver hours for the week by driver
Driver hours for the month by driver
Driver summary report
Driver on duty report
Driver with more than 70 hours
Driver “no log” report
Who provides the report generation software?
IMS provides the software used to generate the reports generated
from the data extracted from the logs. We will customize the software to
generate the reports you want including Web-based Software.
Where do we get the new driver logs?
Since the scanning system requires logs that are customized to
facilitate scanning and data extraction, you will need to change forms.
We will design the driver log forms for your company. They will look very
similar to the forms you currently use and are approved by regulators.
You can purchase them from IMS, or we will provide your forms printer
with the information needed to produce the forms for you. The primary
difference between your current driver logs and the new ones may be
that the new ones have restrained writing blocks and different colors.
